Drug developer Pozen Inc. will ask regulators to approve its medication PN 400 for the treatment of osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis and ankylosing spondylitis.
Designed to treat chronic pain, the drug combines the pain reliever naproxen with esomeprazole magnesium and is aimed at patients who are at risk for gastric ulcers.
